We could never get enough of the complicated and adventurous friendship that develops between Harry, Ron, and Hermione. How many times have you read the Harry Potter books? Now, how many times have you seen the movies? There isn’t enough time in the world to watch Harry Potter struggle to overcome evil in this beautiful world that he’s a part of. So, maybe you aren’t into mounting reclaimed barn wood and applying wallpaper accents but when you’re lining up Pop Vinyl figurines, your decorating skills will fit the bill!Ĭan we get personal? When you buy Funko Pops, you’ll find people stop and gush over your favorite characters. Why do we even decorate our personal spaces? Is it to balance our Fung Shui? Do we decorate to make our place more Pinterest worthy? Maybe, but even if you’ve got some top notch, cutting edge gussying-up skills, with plenty of mood lighting and refined color schemes, décor is really all about connecting to other people. You know characters from all sorts of shows and games like they’re your family.
Even if you are some kind of velvet-jacket-wearing gentleman, you can still have some pride in your pop culture knowledge. Why pretend like you’re some velvet-smoking-jacket-wearing, leather-bound-book-reading gentleman when you’re actually part of the media-loving, collectibles-gathering community. The same goes for that shelf at your apartment. Some people display pictures of their family but that’s just not possible for everyone.
